Malabrigo Sock and more Malabrigo worsted is on it's way!  I've been hearing great things about the Malabrigo sock and can't wait to try it.  We expect our shipment in next week.  Just in time for Christmas gifts!!

We're also pleased to announce our Santa Wish List!!  Come in, email, or call me and we'll put together your very own wish list.  List your favorite yarns and accessories, and when family or friends ask what you want for Christmas, we can help!  Your very own yarn gift registry.

Knitters Night Out!

5:30pm-8pm and 10% off purchases!

 Additionally, we'll have extended store hours (until 8pm) December 5th, 12th, and 19th.  Bring in those last minute Christmas gifts and get them finished!

1st Annual Christmas Stocking Contest!!

Rules:

Project must be started after Oct 1^st 2008.

Stocking can be any size, color, fiber, or pattern. Use your imagination.

Stocking must be turned in by December 1^st.

Judging will be done between December 1^st and December 14^th with Final judging on December 15^th.

Voting done by customers, family and friends. Vote only once please.

Winner will be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate to Lake Tahoe Yarn Company!

What We Do

Lake Tahoe Yarn Company is going to be all about yarn, fiber, spinning wheels and weaving. I hope to meet all your yarn and fiber needs. I will carry local fiber as well as imported fiber. Please feel free to make suggestions and requests. This shop is for and about you.

For the Truckee and Lake Tahoe locals, LTYC is in the old Scraps Dog Bakery location.  Scraps has relocated just a few doors down, and Riverstone has reopened in the old Scraps location along with Lake Tahoe Yarn Company.
